Macari's musical instruments, established in 1958 by brothers Larry and Joe Macari, has been the longest running and most well respected musical instrument retailer in central London for over 50 years!

Currently run by Joe's son Anthony and Larry's son Steve, the cousins have taken Macari's from strength to strength. The store over the years has been in several different locations between London's world famous Denmark Street (Tin Pan Alley) and Charing Cross Road in the bustling West End.

Today Macari's can be found in two places, our flagship store at 92-94 Charing cross road, or our more recent store at 25 Denmark Street, marking a long awaited return to the street for Macari's (originally the first music store on Denmark Street!). We are very proud to be the only authorised Gibson dealer in the area , we usually have around 50 custom shop Les Pauls to choose from plus all the new offerings from Gibson USA and enough Epiphones to ( insert suitable cliche here ) .

At Macari's our helpful, friendly staff,  warm welcoming (albeit jam-packed!) stores, and expert knowledge of all things music! It is the perfect place for beginners and pro's alike to seek advice and search for the instrument of their dreams!

Yes - it has happened - you can now buy things from our website . Macaris are being dragged kicking and screaming into hte present day ! Now anyone who has visited us will know that Macaris is a very busy place - it is not unusual for 50 - 60 guitars to arrive in stock in a day so please please PLEASE give us a shout if there is something you are after or you want to double check stock of something that is on the site. We apologise for not being able to always publish a full list of our itinery and also for sometimes not taking something offline the moment it is sold .
