If you  were a visitor to our London shop in Charing Cross Road , you may remember we had a downstairs which always had around 500 guitars on display . Our biggest selling line was Tanglewood , we often had 100- 120 guitars in stock . Sometimes a whole section of the downstairs was dedicated to Tanglewood guitars .

I remember once a customer remarking ' you must sell a lot of Tanglewood guitars ' and I told him ' we sell a few - but the guy who sells us Tanglewood  . .can he sell Tanglewood ! '

That aside , these solid wood models were the instruments we loved selling - they were the ones that really gave the expensive brands at twice the price a run for their money and this particular model the Jumbo Electro  TW55 AN E is an absolute Tone Machine - if you're looking for a guitar with volume, depth and classic design this is the one . I have nothing bad to say about it - it's fairly obvious where the inspiration for this model has come from , but as I said , double the price and then add some to get a similar sound and feel from another manufacturer .
