c1963 Framus Strato Deluxe

so cool !

This is one of those guitars that just oozes coolness .

Circa 1963 , this is a very unusual piece . The straight ( non angled ) pick ups were normally reserved for the gold versions of this guitar . This is the only Red/ Nickel combination we have ever seen .

Great looking offset body with an on/off switch , volume and tone for each pick up giving you a huge array of sounds .

Predictably when we found this one there were the normal crackles and hisses from the ancient wiring , so we had it totally reworked by Rob Wells at Knight guitars ( hes the guy who makes Pete Townshend's active guitars  . . .hes pretty damn good ) - it is now 100% perfect .

And look !! The tremolo system is totally complete !

It's worth the trip to Haywards heath just to play this one through a Tone Bender - we'll buy the coffee !
