1965 ES 125 T 3/4
the perfect sofa guitar !
Sometimes we get something so cool and so special that we don't want to sell it !!!!
Then we remind ourselves we run a guitar shop for a living .
Well anyway , this is one such guitar - a Gibson from the golden age of guitar building and oh so rare . Its the fully hollow , single p90 three quarter size jazzer . It was built in 1965 , is in amazing condition and is a dream to play .
Its so comfortable and easy plus you can also reach jazz chords that are totally impossible to play on a normal scale guitar
Generally there was one problem with this model and it was the short scale strings not giving enough tension to hold the floating bridge in place , so often when u find them they are strung with quite a heavy set BUT the last owner has cleverly had a period correct Gibson tunomatic bridge installed so now , if you wish , you can have it feeling like a small les paul !
This is a guitar that is very hard to fault - a thing of beauty and coolness personified
Even the case , which is non original , fits really well and is kind of funky .
really worth a train ride down to Haywards Heath to check this one out
