So - we weren't expecting this
We have a long history of buying crazy guitars - but this is the first time we've had an offset body with extra frets !!!
This ‘Quarter Note’ variant of the popular RJT features an additional 7 frets which are placed between positions 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 12 and 14. This allows quarter notes to be fretted & played which makes for some very interesting and inspiring improvisation, great for adding a new dimension & different approach to your playing, often great for finding new ideas when song writing etc…
Quarter Tone instruments are traditionally used to play Arabic & North African music. However the guitar is also still very useable to play traditional Western styles of music.
